Main Peninsula between Paloma Lake and Azul Lake
The peninsula is the location of our main lodge, with most of the mountain-bike trail network snaking through the hills around it. The lakes on both sides and the short connecting river provide outstanding fishing. The peninsula and surrounding areas are also often visited by the mystic huemul, a small and rarely-seen species of native deer that is critically endangered. The park contiguous to the lodge is simply breathtaking. The Rio Turbio’s milky glacial waters, coming directly from the Cerro Castillo mountain range, cross the main peninsula through a striking rocky canyon.
